Eric Saubert
Eric Saubert Questionable for Sunday
Fri, Dec 12, 2025, 3:48 PM
Saubert (calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Saubert was placed on injured reserve after suffering a calf injury in the Seahawks' Week 7 win over the Texans. The tight end has been working his way back and was able to log enough practice sessions in some capacity to be considered questionable for Sunday's matchup. If Saubert can suit up, he will likely slot in as the No. 2 tight end behind 2024 fourth-round pick AJ Barner.
Tory Horton
Tory Horton Likely to miss time beyond minimum
Fri, Dec 12, 2025, 3:48 PM
Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald said Friday that Horton (shin) recently underwent tests that should shine some light on his timeline to return, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Horton is eligible to return from injured reserve for Week 16, but Macdonald's comments sounded an awful lot like the coach-speak version of saying the rookie won't be ready soon. "It's still a process right now," said Macdonald. "We got some tests going on, not as we speak, but in the last day or two, and that'll be indicative of how fast we can accelerate everything."
Elijah Arroyo
Elijah Arroyo Ruled out to face Colts
Fri, Dec 12, 2025, 3:10 PM
Arroyo (knee) is ruled out for Sunday's game against Indianapolis, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Arroyo will miss at least one game due to the knee injury he suffered Week 14 against Atlanta. With the rookie second-round pick sidelined, Nick Kallerup will stand to operate as the No. 2 tight end behind AJ Barner.
Elijah Arroyo
Elijah Arroyo No practice again
Thu, Dec 11, 2025, 7:06 PM
Arroyo (knee) did not practice for the second day in a row Thursday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Analysis: It's not a good sign after the tight end suffered the injury in Seattle's win over Atlanta last week. The Seahawks have one more practice ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Colts. Arroyo has 15 catches for 179 yards and a touchdown on the year.
Eric Saubert
Eric Saubert Logs limited session
Wed, Dec 10, 2025, 10:32 PM
Saubert (calf) logged a limited practice Wednesday, Corbin K. Smith of SI.com reports.
Analysis: Saubert last suited up in Week 7 but was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday. He returned to the field by logging a limited session, but it remains to be seen whether he'll be activated for Seattle's Week 15 matchup against the Colts.
Elijah Arroyo
Elijah Arroyo No practice to begin week
Wed, Dec 10, 2025, 10:22 PM
Arroyo (knee) did not practice Wednesday, Corbin K. Smith of SI.com reports.
Analysis: Arroyo suffered the knee injury in Sunday's blowout win over Atlanta, and head coach Mike McDonald has since expressed skepticism that Arroyo would be able to play in Week 15 against the Colts. His inability to suit up at all Wednesday isn't a promising start, but he'll have two additional days to increase his participation.
Eric Saubert
Eric Saubert Practice window opens
Wed, Dec 10, 2025, 3:27 PM
The Seahawks announced Wednesday that Saubert (calf) has been designated for return from IR, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Saubert has missed Seattle's last six games due to a lingering calf injury, but he's now ready to resume practicing and will have a 21-day window wherein he can ramp up his activity level without counting against the active roster. The Seahawks can activate him from IR at any point in that span, health permitting. Once ready to return, Saubert will stand to contribute as a depth option at tight end.
AJ Barner
AJ Barner Targeted four times win
Wed, Dec 10, 2025, 5:23 AM
Barner caught three of four targets for 27 yards in Sunday's 37-9 win over the Falcons.
Analysis: Barner continued to operate as the Seahawks No. 1 tight end Sunday, but he was unable to have a major impact in the passing attack. The 23-year-old, while getting consistent targets each week, has been unable to find the end zone since Week 5, limiting his fantasy upside. Barner will have his next opportunity to take a step forward and improve upon his recent weeks' limited production when the Seahawks host the Colts in Week 15.
Velus Jones
Velus Jones Goes back to practice squad
Mon, Dec 8, 2025, 8:44 PM
Jones reverted to Seattle's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Analysis: Jones was elevated from the practice squad each of the past two weeks. He logged six of 62 offensive snaps Sunday against Tampa Bay and carried four times for 32 yards while also recording 16 snaps on special teams. Jones' offensive work Sunday came entirely in garbage time with the Seahawks holding a big lead, and he doesn't figure to be a big part of the offense in future games for which he's active unless there are injuries ahead of him in the RB pecking order.
Elijah Arroyo
Elijah Arroyo Status for Week 15 uncertain
Mon, Dec 8, 2025, 8:01 PM
Arroyo (knee) may be forced to miss Sunday's contest against the Colts, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Arroyo was forced out of the team's 37-9 win over the Falcons in Week 14 due to a knee injury, and head coach Mike Macdonald said Monday that "this week's probably in jeopardy," for the tight end. If Arroyo is sidelined for Week 15, Nick Kallerup would stand to operate as the team's No. 2 tight end against Indianapolis.
Cooper Kupp
Cooper Kupp Gets into end zone in Week 14
Sun, Dec 7, 2025, 8:21 PM
Kupp caught two of three targets for 35 yards and a touchdown Sunday in a 37-9 victory versus the Falcons.
Analysis: For the first time since Rashid Shaheed joined Seattle, he played a big part on offense with a 4-67-0 line on five targets. With Jaxon Smith-Njigba (7-92-2 on 10 targets) also putting up his usual substantial production, that left just three targets for Kupp. The good news for Kupp's fantasy managers is that one of the veteran wideout's two catches was an 11-yard TD early in the fourth quarter. With that being said, Kupp has now caught three or fewer passes seven straight games, and with Shaheed potentially trending up in terms of involvement, Kupp figures to continue to be a risky weekly fantasy play.
Rashid Shaheed
Rashid Shaheed Returns kickoff for TD vs. Atlanta
Sun, Dec 7, 2025, 8:00 PM
Shaheed caught four passes (on five targets) for 67 yards during the Seahawks' 37-9 win over the Falcons.
Analysis: It was a slow scoring affair in the first half, but Shaheed turned Sunday's game on its head with a 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown to open the second half. Week 14 was his best performance as a Seahawk, as he finished second in catches, targets and receiving yards behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba (seven catches on 10 targets for 92 yards and two touchdowns). Through 14 regular-season games with the Saints (nine games) and the Seahawks (five games), Shaheed has accumulated 52 catches (on 82 targets) for 603 yards and two touchdowns
Jaxon Smith-Njigba
Jaxon Smith-Njigba Two more TDs in Week 14 rout
Sun, Dec 7, 2025, 4:11 PM
Smith-Njigba caught seven of 10 targets for 92 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 37-9 win over the Falcons.
Analysis: After not being needed in last week's rout of the Vikings, Smith-Njigba was a bigger part of the game plan this time around, hauling in a 28-yard TD from Sam Darnold in the third quarter and a four-yard score in the fourth as the Seahawks pulled away in the second half. JSN has fallen off his 2,000-yard pace over the last couple weeks, but he still leads the NFL by a wide margin with 1,428 yards through 13 games, to go along with 89 catches and nine touchdowns. The third-year wideout will look for another big performance in Week 15 against the Colts.
Zach Charbonnet
Zach Charbonnet Leading rusher in big win
Sun, Dec 7, 2025, 4:06 PM
Charbonnet carried the ball seven times for 46 yards and caught two of three targets for 20 yards in Sunday's 37-9 win over the Falcons.
Analysis: Kenneth Walker saw a team-high 10 carries, but it was Charbonnet's 46 rushing yards that paced the Seahawks, and the 66 scrimmage yards represented his best performance since Week 10, Seattle's backfield remains a timeshare, but Charbonnet's nose for the end zone has made him the more reliable fantasy option -- he's got eight rushing TDs through 12 games, while Walker's scored only four. Charbonnet will look to hit paydirt again in Week 15 against the Colts.
Kenneth Walker
Kenneth Walker Held in check Sunday
Sun, Dec 7, 2025, 4:01 PM
Walker carried the ball 10 times for 29 yards and caught one of three targets for minus-1 yard in Sunday's 37-9 win over the Falcons.
Analysis: While he led the Seahawks' backfield in touches, Walker found little running room and Zach Charbonnet wound up pacing the team with 46 rushing yards. It was Walker's lowest yardage output since Week 1, but he has just one rushing TD over the last 10 games, managing 599 rushing yards on 4.6 yards per carry over that stretch. He'll try to break out in Week 15 against the Colts.
Sam Darnold
Sam Darnold Three TDs in Sunday's rout
Sun, Dec 7, 2025, 3:57 PM
Darnold completed 20 of 30 passes for 249 yards and three touchdowns with one interception in Sunday's 37-9 win over the Falcons. He added 23 rushing yards on three carries.
Analysis: The two teams traded field goals in the first half before Darnold got going after halftime, as he tossed a 28-yard TD to Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the third quarter before connecting with Cooper Kupp and JSN on red-zone scores in the fourth. Darnold now has a 22:11 TD:INT through 13 games this season, including three games with three-plus touchdowns, and he'll look to keep the Seahawks on track for the playoffs in a Week 15 home clash against the Colts.
Elijah Arroyo
Elijah Arroyo Additional testing upcoming
Sun, Dec 7, 2025, 3:46 PM
Arroyo (knee) will undergo more imaging in the near future to determine the severity of his injury, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Analysis: Arroyo suffered a knee injury in the first half of the team's victory, ultimately failing to return to action. The rookie could be set to miss action moving forward, and if that's the case, Nick Kallerup would be a top candidate to operate as the top reserve option at tight end behind AJ Barner.
Elijah Arroyo
Elijah Arroyo Exits with knee injury
Sun, Dec 7, 2025, 1:11 PM
Arroyo (knee) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Falcons.
Analysis: Arroyo is being evaluated by medical staff to determine whether he can return to Sunday's game. Nick Kallerup is poised to see more snaps on offense as the Seahawks' TE2 behind AJ Barner for as long as Arroyo is out of the game.
Jalen Milroe
Jalen Milroe Set for usual role as emergency QB
Sun, Dec 7, 2025, 11:10 AM
Milroe (coach's decision) is inactive and serving as Seattle's emergency third quarterback in Sunday's Week 14 matchup versus Atlanta, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Analysis: Seattle has consistently deployed Milroe as the emergency QB on game days, though he can enter Sunday's contest only if both Sam Darnold and Drew Lock are forced to exit due to injury, illness or ejection.
Velus Jones
Velus Jones Elevated for Week 14
Sat, Dec 6, 2025, 6:44 PM
The Seahawks elevated Jones from the practice squad Saturday ahead of Sunday's game against the Falcons, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Jones will be elevated for the second consecutive week after playing 17 special teams snaps for the Seahawks in their Week 13 win over the Vikings. The running back was not a participant in the Seahawks offense, and with Kenneth Walker, Zach Charbonnet, and Cam Akers all healthy, that is unlikely to change this Sunday. Jones can be elevated one more time before he would have to be officially signed to the active roster.
